Hey there!
Welcome to this cozy corner where we share stories, heartfelt thoughts, and how to stay strong no matter what happens. I'm Leanna, and I'm super excited to have you join me on this adventure as I tell you about the things I've learned from dealing with lots of health challenges.
Life can be tricky, you know? It surprises us with things we don't expect, and it can be totally overwhelming. For me, these hurdles have come in the form of various health battles—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. But instead of letting it get the best of me, I decided to learn and grow and become even stronger.
I want to help you feel better, get inspired, and find good advice if you're going through your own health challenges. Maybe you're the one who's sick, or maybe someone you love is having a tough time. Or maybe you just want to understand people better. Whatever it is, you're totally welcome here, and I'm sending you a big virtual hug!
So, my friend, grab a cup of tea or coffee, get comfortable, and come with me on this fascinating journey of learning wisdom and increasing strength. We'll talk about ways to navigate our seemingly rollercoaster health, learn from each other, and come out even braver, smarter, and full of energy.
With warmth and compassion,
Leanna
Last week I told you that I was pregnant and discovered parasites. After emailing a doctor, we were discussing ways to safely kill the parasites without harming my baby.

The sad truth is, a few weeks after discovering the worm, I started bleeding. And feeling yuck. An ultrasound showed no heartbeat, and I needed to have a D&C to remove my baby as it didn’t pass by itself. I was devastated, we had waited, prayed, and tried for a baby for over a year.
I won’t go into detail about it, my goal today isn't to make you sad. Just know if you have ever had infertility, and loss, I’ve been there. And if you want to talk, or a (virtual) shoulder to cry on, let me know. Or if you DO want to hear more, email and let me know. I am ok to talk about it, just not today as it's not the point of this letter.
Long story short, I was able to take the medication to rid my body of parasites because of no longer being pregnant. Albendazole is what I used then. We lived overseas, in a developing country, and taking anti-parasitic medicine was a regular occurrence.
However, that was before I knew about natural methods for parasite treatment! For example, eating pumpkin seeds on an empty stomach was what eliminated the first one. There are other options for parasite elimination as well.
At that time in my life, I naively assumed that most First-world countries didn’t have issues with parasites. I didn’t realize how common it was around the world. I do think that first-world countries have LESS of an issue. But because of that, it often goes unnoticed, and thereby untreated. It's a subject that is considered gross, so it isn't regularly talked about.
If you have SIBO (small intentional bowel overgrowth) or symptoms of it, you might want to consider doing a parasite treatment, to rule that out as a cause.
What are some signs of parasites in your intestines?
Fatigue
Brain Fog
Anxiety
Diarrhea that won’t quit
Acne (specifically back-ne)
The sudden onset of food allergy
Persistent digestive upset like bloating or gas
Here are some natural options if you think you might have parasites:
How to use Diatomaceous Earth
Start out with 1 tsp mixed into 8 oz of water. Drink this either 1 hour before a meal or two hours after a meal. The goal is to have an empty stomach.
Repeat this every day for ten days and increase your amount of DE slowly up to 2 tsp if you like.
Once you hit ten days, take a break for seven days
Then repeat again for 10 days. You may see some interesting stools being passed. Just a warning!
Additional benefits of Diatomaceous Earth (DE)
-reduces cholesterol
-the silica it contains helps produce collagen in your body. Increases nail and hair health and growth.
-it can be used for pets and animals, internally for parasites and externally for fleas, ticks etc.
Another option is a tincture or capsules. I have used Zahlers brand called Paraguard. It is available on Vitacost.com or other places.
I hope you found this helpful. If so, send a quick reply, it can be 2 words if you want!!
Have a beautiful day!
Leanna
PS. Vitacost.com is a great place to order supplements and other specialty items. All of the items mentioned in this email are available there for a reasonable price.
